DaVita is the largest U.S.-based provider of chronic renal replacement therapies for patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). Building on this extraordinary access to patients, DaVita Clinical Research (DCR) has developed the industry's first world-class Clinical Informatics system, enabling customers’ easy access to critical CKD data.
Comprising information collected on more than 700,000 individuals over six years, the system’s 228 billion data points include detailed information on medications, co-morbidities, demographics, and treatment information. In addition to CKD, data has been collected from extensive numbers of diabetic, hypertensive, cardiovascular disease, and other specialty population patients.
The information is unique and especially valuable as the entire dataset was collected using a standardized electronic health record system, and all patient samples were analyzed using standardized methods and reagents.
Our team provides services including clinical trial development in aspects of intelligent site selection, protocol sensitivity analysis, and protocol design, as well as full biostatistical services. You have access to our data in two forms: as fully-customized reports individually prepared by the Clinical Informatics team and as a series of detailed published reports.
